W.L. Weller Full Proof is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 57% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Wheat replaces rye as the secondary grain in the mash, which gives a rounder profile alongside the full-proof strength.
The nose brings vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with vanilla bean, dark cherry, oak spice and toasted wheat. The finish is long and warming, with oak, sweet spice, vanilla and caramel.
