W.L. Weller Millennium Limited Edition Wheated Bourbon (75cl, 49.5%)

This is a limited-edition wheated bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, celebrating the legacy of W.L. Weller. It blends selected straight bourbons and wheat whiskeys distilled in the early 2000s, with the youngest component reported at 18 years old. It is bottled at 49.5% ABV (99 proof) in a 75cl bottle and comes in a crystal decanter with a display case. The nose has caramel, buttery toffee, mature oak, dried figs, raisins and a little stone fruit. The palate is deep caramel sweetness with dried fruit and oak, and the finish is long, with lingering sweetness, prominent oak and a gentle drying quality.
