W.L. Weller Single Barrel is a wheated bourbon, bottled one hand-picked barrel at a time at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It follows William Larue Weller, born in 1825, who was known for his first-of-its-kind bourbon recipe using wheat in the mash bill.
The nose offers cherry and mint, fading to vanilla. On the palate come caramel and baking spices with hints of cocoa, and the finish brings cinnamon, coffee and a hint of pepper.
