Watt Whisky Westport 2005 17 Year Old (70cl, 57.1%)

Westport 2005 is a 17-year-old single cask Scotch single malt from Watt Whisky, in association with the Campbeltown Whisky Company. It matured in a sherry hogshead and was bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. The cask yielded 198 bottles, uncoloured and non-chill-filtered. Westport is a name independent bottlers use for whisky whose distillery is not named on the label. The nose combines caramel, vanilla and ripe fruit, supported by the sherry cask. The palate is full and powerful, with fruit, vanilla and caramel again.
