Wayne Gretzky Red Cask Canadian Whisky (37.5cl)

A Canadian whisky made from locally sourced grains that are distilled individually, matured and then blended. The blend is finished in red wine casks from the Wayne Gretzky winery in Ontario, where the changing temperatures through the year influence how the whisky ages in the barrel. It comes in a 37.5cl bottle. The colour is bright straw gold with a ruby hue. The nose offers toasty new oak, almond, caramel and vanilla, with nutmeg and stone fruit underneath. The palate is smooth and round, with a little woody tannin, toasted nuts and allspice. The finish is long and gently sweet.
