Wee Mongrel Batch 4 Blended Scotch Whisky 22 Year Old PX and Oloroso Sherry Casks (70cl, 56.2%)

Wee Mongrel Batch 4 is a 22 year old blended Scotch whisky bottled by Little Brown Dog at 56.2%. It comes from 289 bottles of 70cl. The whisky is from the Edrington Group and was matured fully in a first-fill PX sherry cask and a refill Oloroso sherry cask. The youngest whisky in the blend has now reached 22 years, and all the casks bought for the series are empty, which makes this the last edition of Wee Mongrel. The palate is rich and dense, with dark chocolate-coated black cherries and roasted hazelnuts, and both sweet and dry sherry character.
