Wemyss Malts Spice King (70cl, 46%)

Wemyss Malts Spice King is a small-batch blended malt Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Wemyss Malts. Various Scottish single malts are combined in a rich, spicy style with a subtle smoky touch. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill filtered. The nose offers orange marmalade, warm pastry, cinnamon and salted caramel. On the palate come ginger biscuits, toasted oats, walnuts, candied fruit and spiced chocolate, with a hint of heather and sea air. The finish leaves the warmth of freshly ground black pepper.
