West Cork Maritime is a five-year-old Irish single malt, triple distilled and matured in rum casks. It is bottled at 43% with no added colouring.
The rum casks bring tropical fruit, honey and caramel, while oak and a fine spiciness keep the profile in balance.
On the nose there is pineapple, mango, peach and apricot, with ripe berries, vanilla and honey. The palate is soft and creamy, with caramel and honey alongside tropical fruit and oak. The finish is long, pairing gentle sweetness with dry oak.
