West Cork Port Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

This is an Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillers, finished in Port casks. It is bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle, is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The Port finish gives a creamy whiskey with classic Port notes. On the nose it is typically described as blackberry, spicy wood, honey and vanilla. The palate brings plenty of malt, berries and fruit with caramel, oak and vanilla, and the finish is medium in length, fruity and spicy.
