Westward – American Single Malt Belgian Ardennes

Westward American Single Malt Belgian Ardennes is an American single malt, produced and matured in Oregon. It is made with yeast from a local farmer in the Belgian Ardennes, a type often used in Trappist beer. That yeast brings flavours of banana, clove and black pepper, which sit alongside the dried fruit and spice of the Westward style. The distillery was founded in 2004 and takes its inspiration from the culture, climate and ingredients of the American Northwest. It can be drunk neat, or used in classic whiskey cocktails such as an Old Fashioned.
