Westward Single Malt Stout Finish is an American single malt from Portland, Oregon, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It has been finished in stout casks.
Westward makes its whiskey from 100% malted barley, starting with a pale ale brewed at the distillery from regional barley malt and fermented with ale yeast. The single malt is matured in new, lightly charred American oak casks. The distillery was founded in 2004 by master distiller Christian Krogstad and works on a grain to glass principle.
