Westward – American Single Malt Cask Strength (75cl, 62.5%)

This is the cask strength version of Westward's original American single malt, bottled at 62.5% ABV (125 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is made from locally malted barley, with the beer brewed in-house using ale yeast. The whiskey is matured in newly charred American oak barrels in Oregon. The nose brings toasted almond, graham cracker and black pepper. On the palate there is sesame, tobacco leaf and cacao, followed by a honeyed, fiery malt finish.
