Westward American Single Malt Whiskey (70cl, 45%)

Westward American Single Malt is made by the Westward Distillery in Portland, Oregon, from locally malted two-row barley grown in the American Northwest. The distillery first brews its own American ale, ferments it with ale yeast and distils it twice in pot stills. The spirit matures in new American oak casks that are heavily toasted and lightly charred. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers orange peel, caramel and roasted nuts. On the palate come stone fruit, vanilla, honey and coconut, and the finish brings toffee, light oak and roasted fruit.
