This Glenlivet is a 17 year old Speyside single malt, distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2005 at 46% ABV for the Whisky Galore series of single cask bottlings. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe apples, pears, honey and floral notes, with light citrus and vanilla. On the palate it is silky, with green fruit, orange peel, soft malt and a little spicy oak, then almond and honey. The finish is medium to long, with an elegant dryness and lasting sweetness.
