A 10-year-old straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig, made from 100% rye and bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was first distilled and matured in Alberta, Canada, then moved to the WhistlePig farm in Vermont for further ageing in new American oak barrels.
Grassy, herbaceous flavours are typical of it. The nose brings allspice, orange peel, anise, oak, char and caramel. On the palate it is sweet, with caramel and vanilla followed by rye spice and mint. The finish is long, with warm butterscotch and caramel.
