WhistlePig – 10 Year Old Small Batch Rye Whiskey (50%)

WhistlePig 10 Year Old Small Batch is a rye whiskey bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof. It was the first whisky the distillery released, in 2015. The distillery bought its farm in 2007 and spent five years renovating the dairy barn. It began by blending from a stock of 10 year old whiskey obtained from a Canadian distillery. It is described as a complex rye, with aromas of orange peel, spice, caramel and charred oak.
