WhistlePig Boss Hog XII: Feather & Flame (52.4%)

WhistlePig Boss Hog XII: Feather & Flame is a limited-edition, single-barrel rye whisky bottled at cask strength, 52.4% ABV. It takes its inspiration from ancient Mesoamerican rituals, pairing the wild fermentation of pulque with the peppery chocolate of xocoatl. Each bottle is topped with a handmade pewter pig. The nose offers caramel, dark chocolate and zesty orange. Citrus comes first on the palate, then soft oak, roasted cocoa nibs and a little earthy spice. The finish is long, moving from savoury cacao to a slow, warming chili pepper heat.
