This is a 10 year old straight bourbon from WhistlePig, bottled at 44% in a 75cl bottle.
It was aged in custom-toasted barrels, which gives the Snout To Tail its toasted oak character.
The nose combines toasted oak with warm vanilla and a hint of spice. The palate is buttery, with caramel, toasted nuts and dark chocolate, and a little charred wood in the background. The finish is long and warm, leaving a lingering sweetness.
