This is a 10 year old straight bourbon from WhistlePig, bottled at 51% ABV (102 proof).
After its initial ageing, the bourbon goes through a second period in barrels with dual toasted heads. One head is toasted as Vermont Oak #1, the Snout Toast, and the other as Vermont Oak #2, the Tail Toast. The name refers to WhistlePig's whole-hog approach to the cask.
The secondary ageing is said to bring rich, smoky and deep barrel notes to the bourbon.
