White Heather 15 Year Old is a blended Scotch with a single malt content of 47%, a high proportion for a blend. The malt and grain whiskies come from different parts of Scotland, with the Highlands, Islay and Speyside all represented.
The casks are just as varied. Pre-maturation uses first-fill American oak casks, sherry butts and second-fill hogsheads. Post-maturation uses Pedro Ximénez puncheons, Oloroso puncheons and American virgin oak casks.
