White Heather 21 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky (48%)

White Heather is a 21 year old blended Scotch whisky bottled at 48% ABV, limited to 2,000 bottles. It was blended by Billy Walker from single malt and grain whisky from several regions of Scotland. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The first 18 years were spent in first and second fill American oak and Spanish sherry casks. The blend then spent three more years in Pedro Ximenez sherry, Oloroso sherry and medium-toasted Appalachian oak casks. The nose has delicate heather honey, butterscotch, peat smoke and a touch of tannin. The palate follows with heather honey, butterscotch, orange peel, light tannins, peat and smoke.
