This is White Horse blended Scotch whisky from around 1980, in a 1 litre bottle. The colour is pale gold.
The nose is dry and rather austere, with very obvious peat alongside grassy and mineral notes. On the palate the attack is strong, with oranges, honey and soft spices before the peat builds.
The finish is long, peaty and orangey.
