This is White Horse Scotch Whisky, a blend dating from around 1980. The whisky is pale gold. The nose is clearly peaty, with grassy and mineral notes, and it is rather dry and austere. On the palate, oranges, honey and soft spices give way to a growing peatiness. The finish is long, peaty and orangey.
