This is a five-year-old single cask malt whisky from White Oak Akashi, bottled at 61%. It spent three years in American white oak casks, followed by two years in tequila añejo casks.
The second maturation gives a whisky that is less malty and shows a finer whisky aroma. Only 396 bottles were filled, for a Japanese spirits merchant.
