Whyte & Mackay 21 Year Old Special Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 43%. It is made from single malt and grain whiskies aged in sherry casks, and carries a sherry wood finish.
The nose is rich and liquorous, with peach syrup, butterscotch, orange chocolate truffle, black forest gateau, molasses and raisin. The palate is full and thick, with black fruits, sticky toffee pudding, demerara sugar and mellow spice. The finish is raisined, with lingering fruit and chocolate.
