Wild Life Wheat Whisky (45.3%)

Wild Life Wheat Whisky is a Canadian whisky made by Wild Life Distillery in Canmore, Alberta, from locally grown grain. The mashbill is 61% wheat, 26% barley and 13% rye. It was distilled in a 500L alembic copper pot still and matured for at least 3.5 years in 53-gallon American white oak barrels. It is bottled at 45.3% ABV, at natural colour and without chill filtration. The nose offers brown sugar, Shreddies and caramel graham cracker. On the palate are marmalade, cinnamon and toasted American oak. The finish is soft tannin with lingering cereal and light spice.
