Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV. It has been made the same way for over 60 years.
The bourbon is aged for six to eight years in American white oak barrels with a deep alligator char. A high rye content and the strength give it a pleasant bite, and it can be taken neat, over ice or in a cocktail.
The nose is vanilla, cinnamon and oak. Vanilla and caramel sweetness leads the palate into oak and baking spices. The finish is bold, with Wild Turkey spice and orange peel.
