A Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 40.5% ABV. It comes from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The bourbon is aged slowly in heavily charred American oak barrels, the deep 'alligator' char, which gives it its depth and a warm finish.
The nose brings vanilla, honey, light smoke and oak. On the palate there is sweet caramel and toffee, with spice and a firm oak backbone. The finish is long and softly warming, with a hint of spice and toasted wood.
