Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 40.5% abv (81 proof) in a 1 litre bottle.
The name goes back to 1940, when a bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was taken along on a wild turkey hunt. Master Distiller Eddie Russell keeps to that tradition by ageing the bourbon for five to eight years in American oak barrels with a number four 'alligator char'.
