Wild Turkey – Longbranch (1L, 43%)

Longbranch is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, created in collaboration with the actor Matthew McConaughey. It comes in a 1 litre bottle at 43% ABV. The mash bill is mostly corn, with some rye and an equal part of malted barley. What sets it apart is a filtration through charcoal made from both white American oak and Texas mesquite wood. The nose is soft, with vanilla, caramel and honey, plus spice and toasted oak. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, orange and spice. The finish is warm, with a smoky touch and a peppery note of oak.
