A Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at barrel proof, 58.4% ABV, with no water added. It comes in a one litre bottle.
Rare Breed is a small batch vatting of bourbons aged 6, 8 and 12 years, matured in new charred American oak.
The nose is floral, with black pepper, almonds, honey and dates, followed by vanilla, caramel, orange and toasted oak. The palate is rich with vanilla, caramel and toffee, alongside spice, toasted grain and oak, and the finish is very long, warm and spicy.
