Wilderness Trail Single Barrel Bottled in Bond Bourbon (50%)

Wilderness Trail Single Barrel Bottled in Bond is a Kentucky straight bourbon that combines two designations in one bottle. It comes from a single barrel and is bottled in bond at 100 proof, or 50% abv. The mash bill is 64 per cent corn, 24 per cent wheat and 12 per cent malted barley, a high proportion of wheat for a Kentucky bourbon. It went into cooper select, toasted, number 4 char barrels at 110 proof, made with 18-month air-dried staves. The bourbon matured for five to six years in the distillery's two-storey Rickhouse A, moving floors each year.
