Wilderness Trail Small Batch Bottled In Bond Bourbon Whiskey

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wilderness Trail Distillery, released as a small batch of up to 12 barrels, all filled from the distillate of a single fermenter. It was issued as a bottled in bond bourbon so that drinkers of the distillery's wheated single barrel bourbon can compare the two side by side. The mash bill is 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley. The spirit came off the still at around 137 proof and went into the barrel at 110 proof, in cooper select, toasted, number 4 char barrels. It is aged in Rickhouse A, on a mid to upper floor, and in the centre of Rickhouse B.
