Willett Family Estate 12 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #772 (75cl, 60.4%)

A twelve-year-old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Family Estate, bottled from barrel #772 at 60.4% ABV (120.8 proof). It is bottle 130 of 132 and comes in its original Willett presentation tube. The bourbon was sourced from another Kentucky producer and selected by Willett, which did not resume distilling at Bardstown until 2012. Willett Distillery bottled it in Bardstown. The notes run to dark caramel, vanilla, brown sugar and seasoned oak, with toffee, dried fruit, toasted nuts and baking spice behind. The finish is long, with caramelised sugar, mature oak and lingering spice.
