Willett Family Estate 4 Year Rye is a small batch rye whiskey, bottled at 57.5% ABV (115 proof). The barrels in the batch were combined to make a single bottling.
The nose layers brandied cherry over a mildly tart cherry, opening with time to cinnamon and baking spices and a hint of oak. On the palate it is a robust rye with dark cherry, burnt vanilla and spice, and a weighty mouthfeel. The finish is long and led by spice, with the cherry coming through.
