Willett Family Estate Single Barrel Bourbon #760 is a 15 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, selected and bottled by Willett Distillery in Bardstown. It was matured in new charred American oak and bottled at barrel strength, without added water or chill filtration, in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was sourced rather than distilled at Willett. Two bottlings come from this barrel, at 125.2 proof and 124.4 proof, reflecting small differences between fills from the same cask.
The nose is rich caramel and toasted oak with dried cherry, vanilla and leather. The palate brings concentrated dark fruit, butterscotch, baking spice and deep oak tannins, and the finish is long and warm with chocolate and lingering oak.
