William Larue Weller 2024 is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, and the 2024 BTAC annual release. It is aged for 10 to 14 years and bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel strength, 62.9% ABV (125.8 proof), in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is rich with caramel, vanilla and the sweetness of the wheat mashbill. The palate is powerful and full, with the soft character of wheat at cask strength, caramel-led richness and warm spice. The finish is very long and keeps evolving.
