A single cask Islay malt distilled in 2013, matured in a hogshead and bottled at 47.5%. It is named after Bessie Williamson and carries the phenolic character associated with Laphroaig. Càrn Mòr bottled it as a strictly limited release.
The tasting notes describe powerful peaty, phenolic character with sea salt, smoked fish and black pepper, in a maritime Islay style. The finish is strong and long.
