An Islay single malt from 2015, finished in moscatel casks and bottled at 63% for the London Showcase 2024. It carries the trade name Williamson, after Bessie Williamson, who managed Laphroaig from the 1940s to the early 1970s.
The nose combines honeyed sweetness with tropical fruit and salted caramel, followed by leather and red grapes. The palate brings rich toffee, dried apricots and smoked, oily fish. The finish leaves sweet sultanas and a hint of peat smoke.
