This is a lightly peated English single malt from White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, released as Batch 08/2022 under the Wire Works name. It is bottled at 51.7% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent its first years in first-fill Bourbon barrels, then was finished in fresh, lightly toasted virgin oak casks. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. The virgin oak brings vanilla, toasted oak, butterscotch and warm baking spices, alongside a subtle thread of peat smoke and the fruity character of the distillery's spirit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
