Wolfburn No 318 is a limited small batch single malt from the Wolfburn Distillery in the far north of Scotland, in a 700ml bottle. The spirit is lightly peated and matured mainly in Oloroso sherry butts.
It is bottled at natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines dried fruit, soft peat smoke, honey and subtle maritime notes. On the palate there is sherry sweetness, gentle peat, toasted nuts and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with smoke, spice and oak.
