Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select Wheat is a Kentucky straight wheat whiskey, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is based on historical recipes, with the influence of the core Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
Wheat is the dominant grain at 52%, followed by malt at 20%, corn at 20% and rye at 8%. The colour is deep amber.
The nose combines cinnamon, cedar and cooked fruit with floral, vanilla bean and brown sugar notes. The palate brings spicy applesauce and toasted coconut, and the finish is dry with cocoa nibs and apple peel.
