Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection Batch Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon (2024 Edition) (70cl, 60.6%)

Batch Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve, in a 70cl bottle at 60.6% ABV (121.2 proof). Barrels are blended into a batch and the bourbon is bottled at its actual proof, straight from the barrel, using the same grain bill and process as the standard Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon. This is the 2024 edition. The nose shows dark cherries, a hint of anise, vanilla and dried banana chip, with smoke and torched citrus building in the glass. The palate is toasty and wood-forward, with tobacco, dry grasses, cloves and dark chocolate, before cherry and a light floral note come through. The finish is honey-sweet, with well-spiced wood.
