Woodford Reserve – Double Oaked (75cl)

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle. It is matured twice, in two different barrels. The bourbon first rests in a new charred oak barrel. It is then moved to a second barrel that has been heavily toasted and lightly charred, which is where the extra layer of character is added. The second maturation is described as emphasising caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, giving a rich, full-bodied bourbon that can be taken neat or used in cocktails.
