Woodford Reserve – Master Collection Batch Proof (70cl, 60.6%)

Batch Proof is a limited edition from the Woodford Reserve Master Collection, a bourbon bottled at 60.6% ABV (121.2 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is made from a standard batch of barrels, presented before the final adjustment to the usual 90.4 proof. It draws on more than 100 different barrel maturation profiles, from barrels of many production dates and from various warehouses and floors, batched together before that final adjustment. The nose combines rich oak, caramel, brown sugar, chocolate and vanilla with cured tobacco and a lift of apple. The palate offers toasted oak, cocoa, juicy pineapple, dried strawberry and spiced berries. The finish brings dried strawberry, toasted oak and raw honey.
