Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Series No. 17 Five Malt Stouted Mash Kentucky Malt Whiskey (75cl, 45.2%)

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Series No. 17 is a Kentucky malt whiskey bottled at 45.2% (90.4 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is classed as a malt whiskey rather than a bourbon, because the mash bill is made up mainly of malted grains. The mash bill uses five specialty malts of the kind brewers use for stout, taking its inspiration from the flavours of stout beer. It is a limited release. The nose offers roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and toasted grain. On the palate come cocoa, roasted nuts and caramel with a subtle sweetness, and the finish carries gentle spice, malt and hints of espresso.
