Woodford Reserve Oat Grain Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Masters Collection, made at Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, and bottled at 45.2% ABV.
Oats take the place of rye as the flavouring grain, alongside corn and malted barley. The whiskey is triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in new charred American white oak.
The nose is usually described as caramel, light honey, toasted grain and vanilla. On the palate come creamy oat sweetness and walnut, followed by a long, warm finish of soft caramel and oak.
