Woodford Reserve – Rye (75cl)

Woodford Reserve Rye is a Kentucky rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle. It comes from the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark where bourbon-making began in 1812. The mash bill follows a pre-prohibition style, with 53% rye, in homage to the original rye whiskeys. Spice and tobacco lead among fruit, floral and sweet aromas. The nose is spicy, with rye, black pepper, cedar, cassia bark and marzipan, plus hints of pear, apple and almond. The palate offers clove, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey, and the finish is long and sweetly spiced.
