Woodrow's of Edinburgh Ben Nevis 18 Year Old Warehouse Reserve (70cl, 48.9%)

This is a single cask Ben Nevis, 18 years old, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh for its Warehouse Reserve series. The whisky was distilled on 22 June 2007 and bottled on 14 April 2026 at a cask strength of 48.9%, giving 339 bottles. It matured in a refill hogshead and was finished in a second fill Oloroso hogshead. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. On the nose there is barley sugar, pineapple, mango, baked apple, honey, citrus peel and fresh croissants. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with marmalade, brioche, tropical fruit, raspberry jam, maple syrup and savoury oak. The long finish carries syrup, nutmeg, star anise and cloves.
