The Smokey One is a peated single malt Scotch whisky from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon casks, chosen to frame the peat without overpowering the spirit. The distillery's core character stays clearly expressed, in keeping with the heritage of Scotland's island distilleries. Rich peat smoke leads, with earthy undertones, subtle coastal influences and gentle spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
